10.28.11 – SKYFOX w/ The Crimson Red, Offcolor – We are proud to bring Skyfox, one of the hardest working bands in Denver, to start off the Halloween weekend right at the Gothic. With years of experience in the rock-n-roll trenches behind them, this band knows how to craft a show and will deliver one definitive pop-punk experience. Bring in The Crimson Red and Offcolor and we’ve got a show that spans all areas of Alternative, Metal, Punk and Pop that will guarantee a good time! Also playing are new comers Hear Me Out and Synergy.
11.10.11 – Comedian CHRIS FAIRBANKS in the past few years, Chris has taken first place in 2003’s Funniest Person in Austin contest, attended Montreal’s Just for Laughs festival in their “New Faces” showcase, received 1st runner-up in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots contest. Not to mention he has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, as well as Season 7 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He currently is an action sports correspondent for the Fuel TV network. Chris now resides in Los Angeles and makes his living as a club touring stand-up comic and actor. He enjoys skateboarding and golf. We maybe I should just let him do the talking.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OsLjKeUqpw
We are so excited to bring back these punk legends! Now in their 30th year as a band, at heart they’re still rockin like the teenagers they were when they started. Described as The Ramones meet The Beach Boys, count on some awesome covers and raucous originals at this feel-good, beer-drinking party. We’ve also got stellar support on this show — local favorites Lola Black are debuting their new single off their upcoming album as well as an epic new video to boot! Also look for some new tracks from Reno Divorce also planning a new CD Release! These are two bands that consistently deliver some of the best punk shows in town and make Denver proud. Potato Pirates will start the night off with a blast of high energy and everyone’s favorite LA band, Knock-Out is back – after continuously crushing Moe’s – and they’ve been added to the entire Queers tour.
11.1.11 – It’s about time the Gothic brought back “The World’s Sexiest Rock Band”. Continuing in the footsteps of a long line of performance-based musical acts, The Genitorturers are perhaps best known for their exploits and sometimes pornographic show content, and who’s going to complain about that? With their beautiful lead singer Gen, and the merry band of rockers she fronts, the group creates some of the most original and face-rocking metal/industrial music known to man. Tickets will also be on sale at Fashion Nation, as well as through Voodoo and Vendetta music.
